How do I delete my account and all my data?

Open the app, go to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete account. The flow takes three steps: a preview of what will be deleted, a confirmation where you type DELETE, and the processing step. Every byte tied to your account — workouts, PRs, custom templates, nutrition entries, meal photos, AI chat history, and your auth record — is permanently removed from our servers under Apple's App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v). If you can't reach the in-app flow for any reason, email privacy@liftai.club from your account email and we will delete it for you.

How do I cancel my LiftAi Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by LiftAi. On your iPhone, open Settings → (your name at top) → Subscriptions → LiftAi → Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not see your payment information at any point.

How do I restore a previous subscription on a new device?

Open the app, go to Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Your Pro entitlement is tied to your Apple ID, not the device, so it should re-attach within a few seconds.

I paid but the app still says "subscription required"

First try Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases. If the Pro badge does not appear within 30 seconds, email support@liftai.club with the order number from your Apple receipt and we will fix the entitlement manually.

Why does LiftAi need access to Apple Health?

LiftAi reads workouts, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, VO2 Max, and body composition from Apple Health to compute your daily readiness score and personalize plan adjustments (lighter sessions when you are under-recovered). It writes completed workouts back to Apple Health so your activity stays unified across apps. All of this is opt-in. The app works without HealthKit; you just lose the recovery-aware plan tuning.

Why does the AI coach ask for camera or photo access?

Only when you tap a camera button — never proactively. Camera and photo access power two flows:

Meal photos are stored privately in our database with short-lived signed URLs. They are deleted from storage automatically when you delete the corresponding nutrition entry.

I hit the daily AI coach quota

The free tier includes 3 AI coaching messages per day; the counter resets at midnight UTC. LiftAi Pro removes the limit and unlocks AI-generated workout plans, advanced stall detection, and nutrition coaching with photo macros. Upgrade in Profile → Subscription.

The AI gave me a workout I do not like — can I change it?

Yes. Every plan is a starting point, not a prescription. You can swap exercises, edit sets and reps, or skip exercises mid-workout. The AI also takes natural-language feedback in chat — try messages like "swap the cable row for a barbell row" or "I want more chest volume this week" and the next plan will reflect it.

Does LiftAi sell or share my data?

No. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Workout and health data are encrypted in transit and at rest. See the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
